Covington, Ind March 2 Richard ROYCE, 42 passed away at his home in this city this morning at 3. He was a sufferer from Bright's disease and euremic poisoning is given as the cause of death. Besides the parents Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Royce, of this city the deceased is survived by a widow and 4 children, two daughters and two sons. The deceased was one of the successful farmers of Vermillion County where he lived for several years before he was overtaken by ill health and compelled to give up farm work. After selling his farm he invested in Covington real estate and moved to town. He had been sick for several weeks and while it was known that his condition was serious the announcement of his death, nevertheless came as a distinct shock and was received with sincere regret by his many friends. He was a man of exceptional character and had as a friend every acquaintance. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of Christ 7th street of which he was an active member. Burial in Mound Cemetery.   --kbz
