The black, thick funeral card for Hannah Hoff, on which they misspelled her name as Hannah Ruff read:

Hanna Ruff, Died July 11, 1886 Aged 60 years Oh Death, where is thy sting....Oh, Grave, where is thy Victory In Loving Remembrance of Hannah Ruff Died Jul 11, 1886 aged 60 years. Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep, From which none ever wakest weep; A calm and undisturbed repose, Unbroken by the last of foes. Asleep in Jesus, far from thee, Thy Kindred and their graves may be; But Thine is still ablessed sleep, From which none ever wakes to weep.
