VEEDERSBURG — Glen Rusk, 68, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill., where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He had been in failing health several months, suffering from a heart ailment. Mr. Rusk was a retired electrician, having been employed by the town of Veedersburg and Veedersburg Telephone Co., prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Born June 2, 1897, at Veedersburg, he was a son of Elsworth and Anna Underwood Rusk. He was twice married. He was first married to Marie Songer, who preceded him in death. His second marriage, in 1957, was to Julia Hinote, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Lafayette and Miss Julia Christine Rusk at home; a foster son, Donald Fisher of Dyersburg, Tenn., and a brother, Tom of Danville, Ill. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Fishero Funeral Home here with Rev. Dennis Slaughter of the Sterling Christian Church officiating. Interment will be in Rockfield Cemetery near here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday.   --typed by Walt W
