COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Kenneth R. Rusk, 75, a former area resident, died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday (July 7, 1973) at the Community Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been a patient one day and had been ill six years. Born March 18, 1898, in Fountain County, he was the son of James and Mary O. Brown Rusk. He was married Dec. 20, 1919, to Marjorie Strucker, who survives. Mr. Rusk graduated from Attica High and resided in Covington from 1929 to 1939. He moved to West Lafayette where he operated the Home Improvement Co. until 1967 when he moved to Santa Fe, N.M. He and his wife had been making their home with a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ramona) Knue, in Indianapolis for the past two years. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Elks Lodge and was a past treasurer and a founder of the Farm Securities Co. in Indianapolis. Other survivors include his daughter; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Osborne Prairie Church. The Rev. Robert Karn will officiate. Burial will be in the Osborne Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington after 4 p.m. Tuesday.   --typed by Walt W

COVINGTON – Kenneth R. Rusk, 75, former Covington resident and founder and former treasurer of Farm Securities Corp. at Indianapolis, died Saturday night in Community Hospital at Indianapolis. He also owned and operated Home Improvement Co. at Lafayette from 1939 until 1958. He and his widow had made their home for the last two years with their daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ramona) Knue at Indianapolis. Born March 18, 1898, in Fountain County, he was the son of James and Mary O. Brown Rusk. He married Marjorie Stucker Dec, 20, 1919. She survives. He was a graduate of Attica High School and a member of Elks at Crawfordsville. Surviving in addition to the widow and daughter are three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Osborne Prairie Church north of Veedersburg with the Rev. Robert Kain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. Tuesday.   -– jlr
