Bloomingdale—Mrs. Valaria Russell, 84, Route 1, Bloomingdale, died at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 1989 in Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton
She was born May 13, 1904, in Kingman. She graduated from Kingman High School in 1923. She was a homemaker and a member of Bloomingdale United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women’s Club at the church.
Surviving are three sons, Re, Fowler Elementary School principal; J. C., Marshall, and Hugh, Bloomingdale; a half sister, Mrs. Ruby Steele, Danville, Ill.; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home, Rockville, with the Rev. John Swaim officiating. Burial was in Bloomingdale Cemetery. – thanks to s
