Mellott, May 24 – Mrs. Electa (Brown) Rutledge, 51, died Wednesday evening at her home, a mile west of here after an illness of one year. Daughter of SV and Elizabeth Brown, she was married May 22, 1914 to William Ruthledge . Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Irene McClain, Stone Bluff and Mrs. Zenith Sutton, Linden; also a sister, Mrs. Celestia Baity, Mellott and three brothers, John Brown, Veedersburg; Jason Brown, Lynn and Ancel Brown, Indianapolis. Body at Parham Funeral Home, Veedersburg; funeral Friday at 2 o’clock, Congregational Christian Church.
