MELLOTT -- Mrs. Fannie Wiggins received word that her cousin, Miss Rena Ryan, died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. Ill. She had been in failing health for the past eight months and hospitalized since May. Funeral services were held in Chicago. The body was then taken to Eddyville, Iowa. Graveside rites and burial was at Eddyville. Miss Ryan was 80 years old and well known in the Mellott community, having visited here many times. --typed by Walt W
