SICKS, Marshall "Jack"

Marshall "Jack" Sicks, 83, a retired farmer residing at 419 W. Main St., Crawfordsville, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence. Born Feb. 12, 1887, in Warren County, Mr. Sicks was the son of John and Matilda Siddens Sicks. He was married to Zulu Ward in 1908. Mr. Sicks was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He formerly was an assistant assessor in Union Township. Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Whetsell of Brownsburg, and a grandson, Dennis Whetsell, also of Brownsburg. Two brothers preceded Mr. Sicks in death. Services for Mr. Sicks will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in the Mace K of P Cemetery.
