Williamsport, Ind. (CNS) — Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home for Clarence L. Siddens, a partner in the firm and a mortician for the past 53 years. He died Wednesday at the Community Hospital. The Rev. Clyde Beckner will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Robert and Charles, both at home.   --typed by Walt W

Williamsport, Ind. (CNS)-- Clarence L. Siddens, a partner in the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Homes at Williamsport and West Lebanon and a mortician for the past 53 years, died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday (May 4, 1966) at the Community Hospital. He had been ill three weeks. Born in Williamsport, he was the son of William and Ella Long Siddens. He graduated in 1915 from the Askins Embalming School at Indianapolis and on May 12, 1912, he became associated with Carrell & Boyd Funeral Home in Williamsport. He also was associated with the Hamilton Funeral Home, McCloud & Machledt Funeral Home and Machledt Inc. Funeral Home. On Nov. 1, 1962, he became a partner in the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home. Mr. Siddens was a member of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 38, Order of Eastern Star Rocky Dale Chapter 111 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3318. He was a charter member and past commander of the American Legion Post 259 and was a veteran of World War I. He served on the Williamsport Town Board for 24 years. Survivors include his widow, Pressie M.; two sons, Robert and Harold, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Winifred Owens of Danville, Ill.; and a niece, Mrs. Wilma Cole of Gary, Ind. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy, in 1952 and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home. The Rev. Clyde Beckner will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday.   --typed by Walt W
