William L. Sink, 82, retired farmer of Lafayette, formerly of Newtown, was buried in the Newtown cemetery Wednesday afternoon. He died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harvey E. Sellers, in Lafayette, following an extended illness.
Born in Clinton County, he was married to Okey Seely of Newtown on July 16, 1892 and they made their home on a farm in Newtown for many years, moving to West Lafayette in 1917. Mrs. Sink was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church.
Surviving are the widow, the daughter, and two sons, Russell S. Sink of San Diego, Calif, and Milford P. Sink of Sunman, Indiana. --- transcribed by kbz
