Charles William Small, 91, Hillsboro died 5:40 p.m. Friday in his residence. Mr. Small was a retired farmer. He and his wife developed, built and formerly owned Charlarose Campground near Waynetown. He was a Richland Township (Fountain County) HS graduate. He was born Feb 10, 1913 at Fountain County to Guy and Rhuie Kell Small. He married Mablerose Beck Wilson on Dec 20, 1963. She survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Bob (Darleen) Wilson, Waynetown; a sister, Mildred Stine, Danville, Ill; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A brother, Myron is deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Tuesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown with Keit Jones officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
