SMALLEY, Harley John

Mrs. Mildred Smalley of Attica has received word of the death of her stepson, Harley John Smalley Jr., 60, of Renton, Wash. He is the son of the late Harley J. Smalley, Sr., and Adrienne (Swank) Smalley. He was born in Warren County, on Dec. 14, 1917. He was married to Berneice Dempsey who survives. He also leaves two sons, Harley John III and Duane Smalley, both of Renton, Wash., and three grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Adrienne Buikema of Pima, Ariz.; two half-sisters Mrs. Mary Porter of Spencer, In.; four half-brothers, Edwin of California, William of New Mexico, Elmer and Harry of Attica. A half-brother, Thomas, died in a fire July 26, 1978 in Alcoa, Tennessee. – jlr
