Mrs . Melva L. Smith, 42. died at her home in Wabash Township, Monday after a long illness.
Mrs. Smith was born on December 17, 1900, near Marshfield, Indiana, the daughter of Amos and Lulu Miller Hall and on August 3, 1923 married Ray Smith.
She is survived by her husband, three children, William, Maxine and Poulin Smith all at home and one brother, Witmer Hall of Covington.
The funeral was held from Coal Creek chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Spratt of Kingman with burial in Coal Creek Cemetery --- transcribed by kbz
