Mildred L. Smith of Veedersburg, age 76, died Friday night, February 18, in her home. She was born in Warren County, August 21, 1906, the daughter of Daniel V. and Mabel G. McLean Smith. She was a member of Veedersburg United Methodist Church and with her sister Florence operated the Smith Sister’s beauty Shop in Veedersburg for many years.
Survivors include the sister, now residing at Covington Manor Nursing Home; a brother, Donald V. of South Bend; and a half sister, Iva Liddel of Brazil.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Beatrice Day officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. -s
