Danville, Ill.—Zyrelda Lynch Smutz, 89, Danville, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 1989, at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.

  She was born June 15, 1899 in Mattoon, Ill., the daughter of William and Mary Linder Linck. She was married June 16, 1917 to Elmer Lynch, who preceded her in death April 23, 1939. She was married April 21, 1945 to Daniel Gilmore, who preceded her in death May 20, 1953. She was married in 1966 to Lester Smutz, who preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1980.

  She was a graduate of Danville High School. She had been a resident of Danville since 1950 and a former resident of Route 2, Covington. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Bible Chapel.

  Surviving are two sons, William A., Covington, and Ray L., Route 2, Covington; four grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

  Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Stephen Beach officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. -s
