WADE, Bernard

Bernard Wade, 51 employee of the Nickel Plate Railroad, 30 years, died Friday evening at his home in Crawfordsville. He was a former Mellott resident. Mr. Wade was born in Mellott, Jan 31, 1898, son of Aaron T. and Sarah E. Dotson Wade. He was married to Nona Holden, who survives. Other survives are a son, Arvin, stationed with the Army in Germany; five brothers: Stephen A, Mellott; Clyde, Anderson, Ind; Wallace, Crawfordsville; Clarence, Center Point and John, Jasonville, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Cora DeArmond, Mecca Ind and two daughters. (note the daughters were Oveta and Ilena - he is buried at Oak Hill in Crawfordsville)- kbz
