VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) — Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington for Joseph Charles Wagner, 67, of Veedersburg Route 2. He died Sunday (May 7, 1972) at his home and was found dead at his home Tuesday evening. The Rev. Donald Vernon officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington. He was born Feb. 26, 1904, the son of Michael and Amelia Beltcer Wagner. A resident of Veedersburg Route 2 for 18 years, he formerly resided in Chicago, a former employe of Western Union, he retired from farming in 1969. Survivors include a brother, Charles of Waukegan, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Wallace of Chicago.

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Joseph C. Wagner, 67, of Veedersburg Route 2, was found dead at his home at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday (May 9 1972). Fountain County Coroner Robert Shelby said death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Arrangements are pending at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral home in Covington.
