WAGONER, Winfred E.

Funeral services were held on Thursday for Winfred E. Wagoner, 59, a native of Fountain County and graduate of Veedersburg HS in 1907. Mr. Wagoner was acting president of the Ball State Teacher's College in
Muncie. He had been affiliated with the college since 1924, serving as a comptroller and last year as the acting president.  His teaching career was started in Fountain County.  He is survived by the wife, two sons, a
daughter, the father and three sisters. Burial was in Rushville, Indiana.  

(Note: His Death Certificate #17580 gives his his address/death place as 2119 W. Jackson in Muncie; wife is Glassie L. Wagoner. He died of Leukemia 2 years duration.  Lists him as a Controller for Ball State College. Father; Wm. Alfred Wagoner born Indiana Mother: Linevra Clauser b. Indiana. Glossie was informant.  Buried by ML Meeks & Sons, Muncie in East Hill Cemetery on 6-10 in Rushville.   --- transcribed by kbz - thanks
