MELLOTT—Word was receive here Friday morning of the death of Harry Wakeland, a former resident. He died in Florida. No details of the death were available. Survivors include a brother, Manson Wakeland of Veedersburg, and other relatives in surrounding counties. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Donald Cutts of the Mellott United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and evening. --typed by Walt W
