Hillsboro, Nov 12 - Clarence R. Walker, 76, former Hillsboro resident died at his home in FIndlay, Ohio, Thursday night, Nov 11 according to a message received by relatives here Friday morning, He had been ill about two weeks. A private funeral service will be held in Findlay at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov 13. He was the son of John and Joan Rider Walker and was born in Illinois in November 1867.  He was reared in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Bever of Hillsboro. He was married to Miss Elsie Bever and for several years was principal of Hillsboro school.  He also taught school for a number of year sin Cincinnati and after retiring moved to Finlay, Ohio.  He was a charter member of Hillsboro Knights of Pythias Lodge and member of the Masonic lodge. The survivors include the widow and two daughters, Mrs. Cassie McNair who resides in the east and Mrs. Evelyn Gabart of Evanston, Ill; three grandchildren and one brother John Walker of Crawfordsville. A newphew, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walker of Hillsboro will attend the funeral.
