Hillsboro - Edith M. Walker, 80 of Rt 1, Hillsboro died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Lane House Nuring Care Center. She was employed as a clerk by several Crawfordsville stores and was a member of Waynetown Christian Church. She graduated from Waynetown HS in 1922. Mrs. Walker was born Oct 18, 1904 near Waynetown to Joseph M. and mary Etta King Pierce. She was married to Jack E. Walker July 31, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1966. Survivors include a son, Jack W of McKinney, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Darrel (Blanche) Hamm of Waynetown; two grandchildren, Kyle of Greencastle and Mrs. Gary (Kittina) Daniel of Veedersburg; and two great grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Services are set for 11 a.m. Friday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Msonic Cemetery.  Friends nmay call after 4 pm. Thursday at the funeral home.
