Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Waynetown—(CNS)— Mrs. Mab1e D. Walters, 49, a resident of Waynetown since childhood, died at 4:10 a. m. Sunday (Sept. 9, 1951) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been in failing health six weeks. Mrs. Walters was born Oct. 27, 1901 in Mellott, daughter of Fred and Florence Gott Suitors. She was married in 1925 at Crawfordsville to Emery Walters, who survives. She was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. Also surviving are a son, Billy Joe of Evansville; the father of Waynetown, and a sister, Mrs. Clifford Swank of Waynetown. The body is at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home where it will remain until time for services at 2 p. m. DST Tuesday at the Waynetown Methodist Church. The Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.   --typed by Walt W
