William E. Walters, 71, of R3, Nashville, died Wednesday morning, May 17, 1978, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Walters was a retired school teacher, having taught about 10 years at Veedersburg High. He was born at Veedersburg Oct. 12, 1906, a son of John E. and Carrie Walters. He was married to Mari Ann LeBor, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Pat of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Michael Bottorff of Seymour; a sister, Mrs. Maxine Lutz of San Diego, Calif.; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Dr. Lawrence Cooper will officiate. Burial Rockfield cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.   --typed by Walt W
