WARREN, Charles Everett

Charles Everett Warren, age 77, a resident of Perrysville for more than 50 years, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at the Layman Nursing Home near Montezuma. He had been a patient there two months and in ill health for five years. Mr. Warren was born June 16, 1887, near Newtown, the son of John and Mary Lister Warren. He was married June 11, 1921 to Mary Davidson, who survives. He was a member of the Perrysville Methodist Church. He had been a carpenter most of his life and had lived in Perrysville for more than 50 years. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two children, Mrs. June Adair of Marshall and Charles Warren Jr. of Perrysville and 10 gandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and one son. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. (EST) Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Dewey Findley will officiate and burial will be in Hicks Cemetery, west of Perrysville. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today, Nov. 11, and tonight.   -- jlr
