19 – Rev. LC Warren, one of the oldest and best known residents of this city
died at his home here Tuesday night after an illness of several weeks due to
the infirmities of old age. He was past 81 years of age and a veteran of the
Civil War. Until late years he was an active minister of the Christian Church.
He was the father of John Warren of Texas; James of Hillsboro; Mrs. Minnie Meek
of Indianapolis and OP and Miss Daisy Warren of this city. The funeral was held
Thursday morning at 10 o’clock and burial made in Rockport cemetery. – kbz
