Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

COVINGTON, Ind. – Myrle Warrick, 72, a Covington native, died at 1 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 10, 1970) at Healthwin Hospital at South Bend. Born May 17, 1897, he was the son of John and Ellen Hougland Warrick. On April 25, 1917, he married the former Grace M. Nicklas who survives. Mr. Warrick had resided in South Bend since 1924 and was retired from the Studebaker Corp. there. He was a veteran of World War II and belonged to American Legion Post 303. Surviving besides the widow are one brother, John of Brownsburg, and one sister, Mrs. Wayne Mallott of Peoria, Ill. He was preceded in death by two daughters and one son. Services will be at 1 p.m. (EST) Tuesday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. James Downey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening.   -– jlr
