WATERS, Charles E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown, Jan 28 - Charles E. Waters, 76, died here Tuesday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Russell Venis, with whom he had made his home. Death was the result of uremic poisoning after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Waters was born June 6, 1870 in Parke County, the son of Nathaniel and Mary Swain Waters. He married Lula Thompson Dec 27, 1898 in Sylvania, Ind. He was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church.  Surviving are one son, James, Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Russell Venis  and Mrs. Chas. Simpson, both of Waynetown; and Mrs. Mary Barnett of Danville, Ill; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Kiger, Tangier and Miss Eva Waters of Kingman and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Russell Venis home with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine in charge. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown - kbz
