WATKINS, Bertha - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Bertha Watkins, died at 10:45 o'clock Thursday night at the family home, 713 South First street, after a four year illness.  She was a daughter of Joseph and Catherine Watkins, and was born in Fountain county, June 17, 1882.  She had resided in Lafayette five years.  Surviving are the parents; two sisters, Mrs. Briscoe J. Balser and Mrs. Grover Stafford, of Lafayette; a brother, Ben Watkins, of Williamsport, and a half-brother, Charles Watkins of Danvers, Ill.  Short funeral services will be held at the residence, Sunday morning at 9 o'clock; interment in Salem cemetery. – thanks muches to Kim H
