Frank E. Watson, 69, Rt. 4, Elwood, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.   Born November 16, 1906, in Fountain County, he was the son of Charles and Minnie Watson,  He was married to Estella Hamm who survives.   Watson was retired from the Indiana Bell Telephone co.  He was a member of the East Main Street Christian church and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.   Surviving with the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Brewer, Mrs. Betty Crull and Mrs. Delores Maley all of Elwood.  Also surviving are seven-grandchildren, one brother, Lloyd of Muncie, three sisters, Mrs. Aveline Hendricks, Mrs. Vera Utterback, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Mary Carpenter of Wallace, Indiana.   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Dungan officiating.  Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm, today.
