WATSON, Pearl Myers - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Pearl Watson, 94, New Market, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 1996 at Culver Union Hospital in Crawfordsville. She was the mother of Darrell Watson of Waveland. Born January 3, 1902, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Johnny and Leta Jane Myers Furr. On October 26, 1921, at Veedersburg, she married Ralph Watson, who died in 1972. She attended Young's Chapel and Steam Corner schools and was a member of New Market Christian Church and its 50-Plus Club. Other survivors include a brother, Volney Furr of Covington, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Services were conducted Tuesday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Rev. Kurt Flora officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
