Attica — Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, March 9 at the DeSutter Funeral Home for Wilbur Daniel Waymire, age 80, who died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown where he had been a patient for the last 13 years. The Rev. Eugene Rapson officiated. Burial was in the Independence Cemetery. Mr. Waymire, son of Peter and Martha Cordel Waymire, was born June 17, 1882 at Independence. He lived in Attica many years, and was an employee of the Harrison Steel Castings Company. Mr. Waymire was never married and made his home for many years in Attica with his mother. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Attica. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Roy Waymire of Independence, Peter and Ward Oswalt of Lafayette, Ray and Pearl Weaver of Independence and Mrs. Alma Beaver of Attica. --typed by Walt W
