Funeral services for Mrs. Loyd (Helen) Webb, age 73, of Huntington Park, Calif., a former resident of Covington, were conducted Monday, Oct. 18, at Pomona, Calif., with burial in a cemetery there. Mrs. Webb died at her home Friday, Oct. 15. She had been a resident of Covington 20 years. She and her husband moved to California about 15 years ago. Mr. Webb formerly worked as a linotype operator for The Covington Friend and also in Danville when they lived in this area. Surviving Mrs. Webb, in addition to her husband, are: a son, Joseph A. White of Danville, Ill., and one daughter, Mrs. Vic (June) Baldwin of Pomona, Calif., and three grandchildren. -- jlr
