Mrs. Mary Rilla Webb, age 77, a resident of Danville Rt. 5 and sister of Otis Hathaway of Jefferson St., Covington, died at 1 a.m. Monday, March 14, in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient four days. Mrs. Webb was born April 27, 1888, near Union Corner, east of Danville, Ill., the daughter of Isaac and Cindy Oliver Hathaway. She was married March 16, 1916, to James Webb, who survives. She had resided 48 years in the Union Corner area and she was a member of the Union Corner EUB Church. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: one son, James of Cayuga; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kight and Mrs. Esther Bartlow, both of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Augustine Beauchamp of Cayuga; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Otis, of Covington. She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Danville. The Rev. Don Goodwin will officiate and burial will be in Niccum Cemetery, near Union Corner.   -- typed by Walt W
