Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Funeral services for George U. Weidenhammer, age 95, of Williamsport, who died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, in the Alward Nursing Home in Attica, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crowmer and Siddens Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Douglas Dickey officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Weidenhammer, who had been ill seven weeks, was born March 15, 1871, in Cootstown, Pa., the son of Aaron and Katherine Weidenhammer. He was a retired farmer and had resided in the Tab, Pence and Williamsport communities for the past 70 years. He was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include: one niece Mrs. Mary Dillman of Rockville; and five nephews, John at Franklin and Webster Weidenhammer, all of Williamsport; Fred Yaste of Akron, Ohio, and Clifford Kessling of Attica Rt. 4.   -- jlr
