Veedersburg Nov 30 - Harry Wertz, 73, former sheriff of Fountain County and for sometime Veedersburg Chief of Police, died Sunday night at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis of heart trouble.  His last public office before retiring several years ago was Deputy US Marshal at Indianapolis. Mr. Wertz was born on a farm near here and most of his life was spent in this vicinity. He served two terms as sheriff. A brother, Charles Wertz, living near here survives. The funeral will be held here Wednesday at 1:30 p.m with burial in Rockfield cemetery. - kbz
