WETHINGTON, Glenn - WWII

Glenn Wethington of Wingate, age 60, died Friday afternoon, April 16, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born at Roachdale, November 10, 1921, the son of Eli and Beatrice Wethington. March 17, 1945, he married Wanda Humphrey, who survives. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a self-employed truck driver.
  Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Gross of Goodland and Becky, at home; two sons, Danny of Attica and Randy at home; a sister, Edna Mae Ratcliff of Kingman; two brothers, Grover of New Richmond and Albert of Thorntown; and four grandchildren.     Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Jack Swank officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. ā€“ thanks so much to ā€œSā€

Wingate ā€“ Glenn Wethington, 60 of Wingate died at 1:48 p.m. Friday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born at Roachdale, he had lived at New Richmond and Waynetown before moving to Wingate 11 years ago.  His marriage was in 1945 to Wanda Humphrey, who survives.  Mr. Wethington was a self-employed truck driver.  He had leased his services and equipment to Schilli Motor Freight Lines at Remington.  He was an Army veteran of WWII.  Surviving with the widow are two sons, Danny Wethington of Attica and Randy Wethington at home; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Carolyn) Gross of Goodland and Becky Wethington at home; two brothers, Grover Wethington of New Richmond and Albert Wethington of Thorntown and a sister, Mrs. Delbert Ratcliff of Kingman.  - kbz
