WHEELER, Goldie Walton - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Word was received Sunday by AG Walton of Stone Bluff of the death of his sister, Mrs. Goldie Wheeler, 60 at 11 o'clock Saturday night at a Long Beach California hospital. Mrs. Wheeler had suffered a stroke of paralysis. She was born on Oct 6, 1884 in Parke County Indiana daughter of Aaron & Lydia Thompson Walton. She was married March 31, 1906 to Guy Weheller of Terre Haute. Survivors are the brother, AG Walton of Stone Bluff; 4 nieces, Mrs. Bernice Altenberg with whom Mrs. Wheeler made her home; Beatrice Delden of TH whom Mrs. Wheeler reared, Maxine Poor of Kokomo and Joycelyn Walton of Stone Bluff; and two nephews, Harry Walton of Washington DC and Rudolph Schulenberg of Ft. Wayne. The body was returned to Terre Haute for burial. -- kbz
