Mrs. Emma Whisler, 92, 316 S. Main, Veedersbuerg d. Sat even 31 Aug 1974 St. Eliz Hospital, Danville, Illinois where she had been a patient since Aug 28. Mrs. Whisler was a member of 1st Christian church here and Prairie Chapel ladies Aide. An ative of Parke county, she was a daughter of Murphy & Samantah Little Fogleman and was born March 11, 1882. She married Charles Sigler here 1903. He is deceased. In 1956 she marr Frank Whisler who survives. A son, Harold of Veedersburg; six daughters, Mrs. Lola Wakeland; Mrs. Waneta Philpot; Mrs. Alberta Richey of Veedersburg; Mrs. Ruby Wise of Perryslville and Mrs. Madeline Hall of Covington; a brother Chancy Fogleman of Veedersburg and 19 grands; 63 greats; 13 great greats and four great great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fisher-Dickerson Funeral Home here with Rev. Charles Wood officiating and burial in Rockfield Cemetery.   --Thanks muches to Betty D

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — (CNS) — Mrs. Emma Whisler, 92, of 316 S. Main, died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 31, 1974) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been a patient three days. Born March 11, 1882, in Parke County, she was the daughter of Murphy and Samantha Little Fogleman. She was first married in 1903 in Rockville to Charles Sigler, who preceded her in death. In 1956, she was married to Frank Whisler, who survives. Mrs. Whisler had been a resident of Fountain County most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church in Veedersburg. She was a member of the Ladies Aid at Prairie Chapter Church. Survivors include a son, Harold Sigler of Veedersburg Route 2; five daughters, Mrs. Lola Wakeland of Veedersburg Route 3, Mrs. Ruby Wise of Perrysville, Mrs. Madeline Hall of Covington Route 1, and Mrs. Waneta Philpot and Mrs. Alberta Richey, both of Veedersburg; a brother, Chancey Fogleman of Veedersburg; 19 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and five brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fishero-Dickerson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Wood officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.   --typed by Walt W
