WHITE, Alonzo (Lon) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Alonzo White, 83, a native of Alamo and former Waynetown businessman, died Tuesday night in his home at Bradenton, Fla. During his residence in Waynetown he operated a drug store and was in the automobile business. Mr. White was the son of John Marshall and Irene Wert White. He had lived in Bradenton 30 years. Survivors include a brother, Jesse H. White of Bloomington; a daugh-in-law, Mrs. Fred Grimes, 203 Jones Ave, and 3 grandchildren: Gordon White of Indianapolis; Marilyn White of Bradenton, Fla and Mrs. Carolyn Hammitt of Joliet Ill. His wife, Mrs. Lota M. White died last March 16. Funeral services followed by cremation will take place at Bradenton Thursday.   -- kbz
