WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) — Clarence David White, 69, a retired mail carrier and resident of the community for 42 years, died at 11 p.m. Friday (Nov. 6, 1959) at his home following a one-day illness. Born Sept. 2, 1890 at Marshfield, he was the son of Cornelius B. and Mary Jane Smith White. He was married Jan. 27, 1912 to Blanche S. Albert, who survives. Mr. White was a member of the Methodist Church and the Williamsport Masonic Lodge 38. Other survivors include a son, Rex H. of Covington Route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Williams and Mrs. Lucy Clawson, both of Danville; a granddaughter, Marcia Louise White of Covington, and a grandson, David Lee White of Covington. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Williamsport Methodist Church. The Rev. Arthur Schenck will officiate, with burial in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The body is at the Machledt Funeral Home in Williamsport where friend will be received after 2 p. m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the services.   --typed by Walt W
