Taken January 2003 at Jenks Cemetery, S21 T12N R12E, East of Dam Road, South of Laurel, on property of John and Mary Steele. Received permission of Mr. Steele to visit.

2. Susannah (this may be Susannah Jinks, b. 1828, d/o Samuel Jenks)
3. Wife of Adonijah Wiley...(Biographical and Genealogical History of Wayne, Fayette, Union and Franklin Counties, Indiana - 2 volumes, Chicago, Lewis Publishing Company, 1899, p 979-80 states:"Adonijah Wiley was born upon the old homestead owned by his parents on section 34, Laurel township, January 21, 1850. When he reached manhood, he followed the example which his father had set, and for two years traveled quite extensively in the west....April 20, 1875, Mr. Wiley married Miss Amanda Jenks, who died on the 6th of the ensuing September...") Amanda Jenks b 1856 d 6 Sep 1875 was d/o Sarah Jane Bryson and Stephen Jenks.

5. This may be the stone referenced in the Brookville Library file as
"In memory of Phebe Jinks consort of Samuel Jinks was born in the state of New York Sept the 25 1792 and departed this life Sept the 9 1841 aged 48 years 11 months and 16 days."
"In memory of Phebe consort of Stephen Hamilton departed Sept 24 18?1 Aged 25 years"
"In memory of Samuel and Stephen and Phebe Hamilton Sept 25"
6. P J (it is not clear whether this refers to Phebe Jane Winchell Jinks, 1792-1841, wife of Samuel Jinks?)
7. Not legible.
Note: Franklin Co IN death certificate Book H-16 Page 84 for Sarah Bryson Jinks states she was buried in Jinks Cemetery, 8 June 1906.
