  On the 17 day of February 1849 the said adminstrator filed in
the clerks office aforesaid the following appraisement  bill to
wit: Franklin County, Highland Township. the appraisement of the
property belonging to the estate of Squire Chapman.

These men appeared before me Bradburg Cottrell, a Justice of the
Peace of Highland Township, Franklin Co. and when duly sworn say
that this to the best of their ability is a correct appraisement
of all the goods and chattles belonging to the estate of Squire
H. Chapman deceased with the exception of what is for the immedi-
ate consumption of the family together with the clothing of the
widow and deceased. 1st day of February 1849
