On the 16th day of August A. D. 1849 the said administrator [Peter Jacob] of the estate of the said deceased filed in the office of the Court Aforesaid the following inventory and appraisement to wit: Inventory of the moveable property of Nicholas Dil late of Franklin County deceased.

State of Indiana, Franklin County: Be it remembered that on the 16th day of August A.D. 1849 personally appeared before me John M. Johnston clerk of the Franklin Circuit Court & Probate Court for said County Peter Jacob, administrator of Nicholas Dil, dec'd who being duly sworn upon his oath says that the above and foregoing is a just, full and true inventory of the goods, chattels & effects which were of Nicholas Dil, late of said County deceased Peter Jacob sworn to and subscribed this 16th day of August AD 1849.
John Eff, John Adam Klinefelter, appointed appraisers of the personal property belonging to the estate of Nicholas Dil deceased declared and took an oath that they will truly, honestly and impartially appraise the estate, property and effects which shall be exhibited to them according to the best of their judgment and ability. John Eff, J. Adam Klinefelter, sworn and subscribed before me this 8th day of August AD 1849.
