Be it remember that on the 14th day of February 1838 personally appeared before me the undersigned a Justice of the Peace of said County, Thomas Shank and George B. Cox, two respectable freeholders in the neighborhood where Elizabeth Gant deceased late of said County formerly resided. appraisers of the foregoing property who being by me duly sworn on their oaths solemnly say that the foregoing appraisement of the goods & chattles belonging to the estate of Elizabeth Gant deceased is just and true to the best of their knowledge and belief and further they say not. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 14th day of February 1838, John Wynn Justice of the Peace.
