Be it remembered that on this fourth day of April A.D. 1838 David S. Hanna and James Wright personally appeared before me Elijah Barwick a Justice of the Peace in & for the county aforesaid and being duly sworn depose and say that they did on this day appraise the goods and chattles belonging to the estate of the said Benjamin McCarty deceased exhibited to them by said exhibiter and as contained in the foregoing inventory proper to be appraised at their fair value the value of each article being annexed thereto and that said appraisement is just and true
