Personally appeared Thomas Skinner and Thomas Smith before me, Hugh
Morrison a justice of the peace in and for the said county and being duly sworn
according to law saith that upon the seventeenth day of August 1817 they the said
Thomas Skinner and Thomas Smith made a just and conscientious appraisement
of the personal estate of Eli Scallon deceased as shown to them by the
administrators of the estate according to the best of their abilities and judgment
sworn and subscribed the 30th day of October 1817 before me Hugh Morrison.
