We the undersigned appraisers of the of the personal property of Isaac Smalley Dec'd did on this day commence the same same follows May 21st 1838.

Be it remembered that on the 22d day of March 1838 personally appeared before me the undersigned Justice of the Peace of said County James Wallace and Isaac Peck two respectable freeholders in the neighborhood where Isaac Smalley dec'd late of said County resided, who were called by Christian Straube admr of said dec'd estate to appraise the property of said dec'd who being by me duly sworn on their oaths solemnly say that the foregoing appraisement of the goods and chattles belonging to the estate of Isaac Smalley deceased is just and true to the best of their knowledge and belief and further they say not.
