FORT BRANCH, Ind.
— Betty J. Barrett, 83, of Fort Branch
passed away March 19, 2009,
in a peaceful sleep.
Betty was born in Patoka on May 9,
1925, to John and Bettie (Phillips) Pauley.
She was a homemaker, farmer's wife, a loving mother and a gracious aunt.
Betty gave lots of love to family and her community.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis M. in 1996, and Bernie R. in
2002.
She is survived by her husband, Mitch Barrett; and Gibson
County relatives; nieces, Connie (Gary)
Utley, Nancy (Dr. Terry) Gehlhausen, Jan (John) Greer, Nancy Dickenson;
nephews, Eddie (Debby) Pauley, Jody Pauley, John (Teresa) Barrett, and Steve
Pauley.
Great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews also
survive.
Graveside services will be held today, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Walnut
Cemetery in Fort
Branch, IN, with the Rev. Ron
Austin officiating.
