KILLEEN, Texas — Christopher “Chris” Laster, 37, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of Princeton, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2009,

Born Jan. 13, 1972 in Princeton, he was the son of Robert D. and Judy R. Laster.

He attended school in Princeton and Mt. Carmel, Ill and received an associates degree in applied sciences from Olney Central College. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He married his wife Tamara J. Laster March 22, 2008.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Judy Laster of Waco, Texas; father Robert (Jane) Laster of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; sister, Farrah M. (Torrey) of Hewitt, Texas; brothers, Victor “Rusty” Baker of Tampa, Fla., Timothy Baker of Mt. Carmel, Ill., Benjamin Baker of Evansville, Jon Baker of Indianapolis; several aunts, uncles and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at United Faith Church, 1101 N. First St., Copperas Cove, Texas.
