HAUBSTADT, Ind. — Lillian M. Martin, 92, of Haubstadt, Ind., formally of Fort Branch, Ind., passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009, at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, Ind. She was born on Nov. 7, 1916, to the late William and Caroline (Maurer) Frick. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor J. Martin on August 10, 1983.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Haubstadt, Ind. She also was retired at Holy Cross school as a cook for at least 40 years.

She is survived by 10 children, William (Nancy) Martin, Clarence (Claudette) Martin, Earl (Jo Ellen) Martin, James (Cindy) Martin, Rose Mary (John) Conner, Marlene (Jeff) Corn, all of Fort Branch, Ind., Raymond (Phyllis) Martin of Owensville, Gerald "Friday" (Debbie) Martin, Roger (Katrina) Martin, both of Haubstadt, Ind., and Ralph (Linda) Martin of Princeton, Ind.

She is survived by 33 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Haubstadt, Ind., with Father Tony Ernst and Father Gary Kaiser officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, and again from 9 a.m. till service time at the funeral home on Monday.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch, Ind.
